It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine LaVonne Allgood of Pekin, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence C. Reed and Alta E. Reed (Balderson). She is survived by: her brother Bill; her former husband Clarence Wilbur "Sparky" Sparks; her husband Richard Allgood; her brother Wilbur Reed; her granddaughter Kelly Cash; her daughters, Stephany "Stevie" Taphorn (Robert) of Pekin and Patti Henderson (Bill Britton) of Pensacola, Florida; her grandchildren, Matt Taphorn (Kelly) of Morton, Pat Taphorn (Lisa) of Pekin, Pam Highfill (Jeff) of Peoria, Abby Sevier (Donny) of Pekin, Autumn Henderson of Pensacola and Bill Cash (late Kelly Cash) of Pekin; her great grandchildren, Amanda, Megan, Lauren, Austin, Ben, Maddy, Adam, Emma, Daniel, Drake, Karson, Chase, Drew, Nathan, Carter, Jenna, Justin, Haley, Halston, Hunter, Tally, Brady, Gracy, Lainy, Korry and Jordan; and her great great grandchildren, Evan, Tucker, Avery, Clare, Oliver, Perry, Loey, Noah, Finn, Theo, Beckam, Ada, Luke, Grant, Molly, Kate, Kainen, Jairus, Eli, Selah and Maisie.
