It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Shock of Pekin, Illinois, born in Christopher, Illinois, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ryan and Wilma Ryan (Peters); and her sisters, Brenda Ryan and Kathy Bergmann. She is survived by: her sons, Jay Shock (Shannon) of Pekin, Dr. Ryan Shock (Laura) of Austin and Travis Shock (Molly) of Pekin; her sister Phyllis Parrish (Arthur) of Ponte Verde, Florida; her grandchildren, Chaylyn Shock, Kayden Kapraun, Rylan Kapraun, Bennett Shock and Parker Shock; and her pets, Zoe and Lucy.
