He was predeceased by: his parents, John George "Jack" and Ruth Fandel (Losher). He is survived by: his children, Nicholas Fandel (Leslie) of Chatham and Laura Gossmeyer (Clint) of Tremont; his grandchildren, Logan Fandel and Vivienne Gossmeyer; his brother Greg Fandel (Alberta) of Germantown Hills; his nephews, Doug Fandel (Angie) and Karl Fandel (Maureen); his niece Bonnie Engstrom (Travis); and his pet Tigger. He is also survived by fourteen great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
