She was predeceased by: her parents, Calcia Cornelius (CC) and Etta Louise Ferrell Motes; her spouse Willie Brownlow Russell; her brother Royce Eugene Motes; her niece Tammy Motes; and her stepson Steven Lynn Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Russell of Savannah, Tennessee and Mark Russell (Lyndi Mallory) of Pekin, Illinois; her daughter-in-law Debbie Russell of Savannah, Tennessee; her sisters, Joyce Carmack of Plant City and Janice "Jan" Price (Raymond) of Savannah, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Magan Russell of Savannah, Cale Russell (Holly) of Savannah and Cole Russell of Pekin, Illinois; her great grandchildren, Cohen Russell of Savannah, Tennessee and Micah Russell of Savannah, Tennessee; and her nieces and nephews, Tina Carmack-Sapp, Tracy Price-Curtis (Freddy), Susan Motes Taylor (Keith), David Motes, Donnie Carmack, Doug Carmack and Tony Carmack.
