She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Henry and Lula Mae Wiker (Houstin). She is survived by: her spouse J. D. Roots; her children, Dorinda Williams of Eureka, David Roots (Jenny) of Canton and Tracy Roots (Summer) of Buckeye, Arizona.; her grandchildren, Amber Ezekiel, Jordan and Blake Roots; and her great grandchild Adalynn Ezekiel. She is also survived by her best friend; her children; their spouses.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Lakeside Cemetery (1917 N 8th St, Pekin, IL 61554).
