It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Dwayne Howdyshell of Pekin, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on March 26, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Barewell and Addie Kathleen Howdyshell (Campbell). He is survived by: his children, Laurel Grace McGinnis (Stewart) of South Pekin, Victoria Johnson (Chris) of Hanna City and Alexandra Howdyshell of Pekin; his grandchildren, Keira McGinnis of South Pekin, Nora McGinnis of South Pekin and Johnson of Hanna City; his siblings, Thomas Gilmer (Janet Lawrence) of Colonial Heights, Kenneth Howdyshell of Punta Gorda, Wendell Howdyshell (Ann Jones) of Pekin and Bonnie Howdyshell Shipp of Pekin; his nieces and nephews, Brandon Howdyshell (Melissa), Emily Gibson (Ricky), Dalton Storey (Kayla), Daylyn Storey and Elizabeth Bishop (Chad); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Gavin Howdyshell, Gwen Howdyshell, Kaytlynn Gibson, Ricky Gibson, Jr., Cason Cox, Lailah Cox and Cole Cox.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family to assist with medical expenses.
