He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Garber and Johanna Garber (Trager); his grandchildren, Kody Garber, Kari Garber and Lora Garber; his great grandchild Tera Garber; and his brother Delmar Garber.
He is survived by: his wife Karalyn Wildeber; his children, Dana Garber (Rose) of Pekin, Kraig Garber (Shawna) of Pekin, Kent Garber (Jennifer) of Marquette Heights, IL, Kurt Garber (Myong) of Inman, SC and Kara Palmieri (Mario) of Pekin; his grandchildren, Jesse, Kacey, Loren, Kendra, Kasondra, Kegan, Hannah, Stephan Garber and Jenna Owens; and his sister Marilyn Alexander of Pekin.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
