She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Maurer and Leah Maurer (Heinold); her husband Wilbur Francis Steingraber; and her siblings, Roy Maurer and Bernice Bammann.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Sandra Steingraber of Hudson and Julie St (James); her grandchildren, Brandon Skocaj (Melissa) of Pekin, Grant Skocaj of Pekin, Faith of Castro and Elijah of Castro; her great grandchildren, Hope Henry (Elijah) of Oak Grove, Kentucky and Logan Skocaj of Pekin; her sisters, Anna Mae Clinton of Smithfield, Lucille Zimmerman of Bloomington and Louise Troyer of Waterford, Pennsylvania; and her sister-in-law Joyce Steingraber Busby (Jerry) of Clinton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to First United Methodist Church, 1315 Court Street, Pekin, Illinois, or to The Baby Fold, 108 East Willow Street, Normal, Illinois.
