She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Schroeder and Martha Schroeder (Schmidgall); her husband Philip Peterson; her siblings, Henry "Bill" Schroeder Jr., Helen Godby, Virginia Connor and Ruth Herrman; and her great grandchild Laina Stevenson.
She is survived by: her children, Steven K. Peterson (Darla) of Kissimmee, FL and Phyllis J. Kowerko (Paul) of Bloomington, IL; and her grandchildren, Chad Peterson (April), Josh Peterson (Aimee), Sarah Knuppel (Ryan), Joel Peterson (Ashley), Alex Kowerko (Faith) and Marta Stevenson (Martin). She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
