He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Thomas and Erma Thomas (Hafley); his daughter Kathy Pearson; and his siblings, Carl, Loren, Earl Thomas, Sylvia Freeman, Imogene Arms and Shirley Crane.
He is survived by: his wife Della Antonini of Pekin; his children, Gordon Thomas (Linda) of Hopedale and Stephenie Bowman (John) of Pekin; his sister Louise Collison of Bluffs, IL; and his son-in-law Howard Pearson of Pekin. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Henderson Funeral Home & Crematory (2131 Velde Dr, Pekin, IL 61554). Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church (303 S 7th St, Pekin, IL 61554).
