He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Earl and Elsie Virden (Yetter); and his brother George Virden. He is survived by: his wife Karolyn Sue Miller; his children, Erech Virden (Molly) of Pekin, Tiffany Haynes (Chris) of Bartlett and Misti Salter of Memphis, Tennessee; his great grandchildren, Jaxon Haynes, Tate Haynes and Kiley Haynes; and his sister Joyce Eagleton (Richard "Dick") of Peoria. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
