He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Duane and Marie Pearl Rushing, Sr. (Lohrenz). He is survived by: his children, Nick Rushing (Veronica) of Pekin and Sarah Belk (Chris) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his grandchildren, Vayda Rushing, Emma Rushing, Brynley Rushing, Gabriel Rushing, Claire Belk, Thomas Belk and Elena Belk; and his sisters, Kandy Rudd (Donald) of Kingston Mines and Boni "Bonnie" Huey (Carl) of Green Valley.
