He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Carroll and Edith Carroll (Woods); his daughters, Doris Carroll and Melinda McCulley; and his siblings, John M. Carroll, Sue Carroll and Mary Lou Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Holloway; his daughters, Patty Helmig (Damon) of Chapman, Kristen Helmig of Pekin and Sandra Helmig of Owensboro, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Bryan McDonald (Lindsey) of Rome, Marc Andrew McCulley (April) of Lewiston, Steve Barnes (Katie), Alina Barnes, Michelle Quintal (John) of Junction City and Trina Hoff (David) of Hawaii. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
