She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. and Mary A. Buchanan (Long); her son Kenneth Zimmerman; and her siblings, Gloria DeWitt and Johnny Buchanan.
She is survived by: her former husband Franklin E. "Bud" Zimmerman; her children, Joyce Schoon (Larry) of North Pekin and Dennis Zimmerman (Debra) of Pekin; her daughter-in-law Laura Zimmerman of East Peoria; her grandchildren, Trisha Bush, Bradley Zimmerman (Liz), Jessica Sanders, Brian Zimmerman (Mollie), Keith Zimmerman (Alisha), Bethany Zimmerman, Russell Schoon (Jillian) and Josh Hidden (Dawn); her siblings, Janet Jones of Pekin, Charles Buchanan of Morton and Jack Buchanan (Mary) of Raymondville; and her husband Peoria Charter Bus Trips. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
