He is survived by: his brother Danny Atherton (Beverly) of Eureka; his stepsiblings, Lance Riviere of Pekin, Clay Riviere (Sue) of Clermont, Paul Riviere (Lee) of Forest City and Michele Small (Bob) of Pekin; and his friend Carl Gibbs. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
