With solemn reverence, we commemorate Donald D. Murray of Pekin, Illinois, whose life came to an end on January 1, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Murray and Mildred Murray (Gearian); his stepfather Ernest Carpenter; his daughter Kristine Cilella; his grandchildren, Bo Brock and Tyler Murray; and his sister Kay Gess.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Hatfield; and his children, Deb Brown of Pekin, Rose McKay of Pekin, Sandy Kline of Pekin, Monica Walker (Mike) of East Peoria, Amy Schaeffer of Washington, Charles McKay of Pekin, Kevin Murray (Star) of Pekin and Kendall Chandler of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
