He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Phillips and Beulah Phillips (Cotterell). He is survived by: his former wife Dorothy Madeline Seifert; his wife Ingrid Sullivan; and his children, Gail Marie Wesson of Colorado, Valerie Ann Henson (Roger) of Omaha, Mary Katherine Esposito (J. J.) of Apex, David Edward Phillips (Sheila) of Cleveland and Laura Gray (Josef) of Pekin. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
