He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Bailey and Bonnie Bailey (Light); and his brothers, Michael, Larry, Doug and Jimmy Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Retha Bailey of Pekin; his children, Deanna Alaniz (Ricky) of Clermont, Dawn Byers of Pekin, Dusty Thomas (Shane) of Creve Couer, Rebecca Bailey of Pekin and David Lee Harris (Jennifer) of Pekin; and his siblings, Randall Bailey of Morton, Sheila Berry (Brad) of Mapleton, Cheryl Schmidt (Dave) of Medina, Connie Bailey of Medina, Carol Bailey of Pekin and Lisa Elwell of Pekin. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in David's name to Bethel Baptist Church.
