We are sad to announce that on May 3, 2023, at the age of 92, Darla Lawson of Pekin, Illinois, born in East Peoria, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank A. Himes and Dorothy Wilma Himes (Merriman); her spouse Ellwood "Woody" Lawson; her son Steven C. Baumgardner; her sons-in-law, William "Bill" Hilst and Darrell Carrington; and her brothers, Marvin E. Himes and Kenneth D. Himes.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Hilst (Terry) of East Peoria, Bonnie Carrington of Pekin, Richard Lawson (Daniela) of Pekin and Connie Berry of Manito; and her sister Donna O'Neill (Jim) of Pekin. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
