He was predeceased by: his parents, Virtus Parr and Gertrude Parr (Spencer); and his sisters, Winifred Fredricks, Allice Booth and Lucille Dupage.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel L. Parr (Holly) of Pekin, Cathleen Orr (Steve) of Buffalo, Stephanie Barth (Gary) of Lakeview, Patricia Parr of Bonners Ferry and Judith Johnson (William) of Pekin; his grandchildren, Daniel Parr, IV (Lauren) of Greendale, Logan Parr of Pekin, Lauren James (Jesi) of Manito, Oliver Barth-Carson (Daniel) of Peoria, Andrew Johnson of Pekin and Ashley Johnson (Matthew Avery) of Bartonville; his great grandchildren, Daniel L. "Levi" Parr and Wrenley Avery; and his wife Loretta Jean Combs.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
