He was predeceased by: his father James D. Herold; and his close friend Robin Conover. He is survived by: his mother Dolores J. Herold (Northrup) of Pekin; his wife Cindy Royer of Pekin; his sons, Beau Herold (Christina) of Columbia, TN and Brock Herold (Katrina) of Pekin; and his pet Hopper.
