She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Christensen and Joyce Christensen (Everretts); her son Todd Schaefer; her granddaughter Tori Schaefer; her brother Scott Christensen; and her stepbrother Kevin Thomas.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Bushong; her children, Tara Sondag of Green Valley, Sara McDonnell (Allen) of Morton and Nathan Bushong (Kara) of Pekin; and her stepmother Jackie Christensen. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
