He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Maskel and Effie Maskel (Good); his granddaughter Brandi Maskel; his siblings, Dorothy, Juanita, Midge, Frank, Clarence and J. D.; and his sister-in-law Mary Maskel.
He is survived by: his wife Leatha Mae Gray; his daughters, Juliann Slicko (Tom) of Florida and Dawn Maskel of Canton; his grandchildren, Brittany Maskel, Joshua Wagner (Hanna) and Mallory Wagner; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn Maskel, Breanna Maskel, Patience Toungett, Dayton Williams, Bentley Moore, Titan Moore, Joshua Wagner and Charlotte Wagner; and his brother Bill Maskel of Pekin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
