It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold Edward Austin of Pekin, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on August 24, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeala "Zeke" Austin and Leota Austin (Dempster); his daughter Cathy Austin; and his sister Marilyn Demick. He is survived by: his wife Donna Bishop; his daughters, Christie Counterman (Bob) of Marquette Heights, Lori Cargill (Ryan) of Pekin and Lisa Johnson (Brendon) of Pekin; his grandchildren, Daniel Counterman, Joshua Counterman, Zachary Johnson, Ryan Cargill, Jr. and Hunter Koller (Hunter); and his great grandchildren, Aurora Koller and Hudson Koller.
