She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Maus and Alberta Maus (Frohling); her former husband Rex "Darnell" Carpenter; her son Steven Frye; her grandchild Kyle Watson; and her great grandchild Michael Watson.
She is survived by: her children, Dana Wernli (Robert) of Bakersfield, Cheryle Watson (Randy) of Summersville, Missouri and Jimie "Jim" Frye (Annette) of Pekin; her grandchildren, Cynthia Koerner (Don), Crystal Hester (Jason), Rachel Wernli, Josh Watson (Trista), Shawna Rudd (Brian) and Bethany Frye (James Frye); and her siblings, Darell Maus (Joellen) of California and Judy Houston (Harvey) of Illinois.
