She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Schoenhardt (Yoder) and Robert Shade; her husband Richard Pollen; her daughter Kathleen Erickson; and her siblings, Betty and Roger.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Guffey (James) of Winnebago and Connie Long (Ed) of Freeport; her grandchildren, Jeremy Guffey (Jennifer), Susan Wagner, Jessica Guffey, Stephanie Wagner and Jake Guffey (Megan); her great grandchildren, Jayden, Jayger, Grace, Griffin, Kyah and Julian; her caregiver Toni Brown; her niece Joann Jakowlew; her great-nephew Brent; her close friend Brian Lameyer; and also Joe Buss. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her daughter Kathy's favorite charity, Friends Forever Humane Society of Freeport, or the Rockford Rescue Mission.
