It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Van Vleck of Pecatonica, Illinois, born in Rural, Illinois, who passed away on July 3, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Highbarger and Helen Highbarger (Houghton); her daughter Deborah; her sisters, Phyllis Unnerstall and Mary Havens; her brothers-in-law, Herbert Degner, Ray Havens, Leland Aultman and Emil Unnerstall; and her nephews, Kary Christen and Daniel Aultman.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Van Vleck; her son Steven Van Vleck (Mary) of Pecatonica, IL; her grandchildren, Shannon of Texas, Lindsie of Iowa and Austin of Pecatonica; and her siblings, Carol Aultman of Highland, WI and Earl Highbarger of Honolulu, HI. She is also survived by great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
