He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Henry Whittington Sr. and Irene (Hulett); and his brother William Whittington. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Whittington (Sadewater); his daughters, Jan Sluiter (Tom) and Eileen Whittington; his grandchildren, Garen Kloster (Jodi) and Justin Kloster; his great grandchildren, Drew, Braelyn, Ryle, Bryson and Benson; his cousin Eddie Whittington; and his brother Denny Whittington (Sharon). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
