It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Meredith McClure of Pecatonica, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Hammond and Patricia Hammond (Reilly); her sister Victoria; her daughter Janice Mayer; and her granddaughter Tina Mayer.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Johnson (Chris), Jason Mayer (Carrie), Joshua Mayer (Melenie) and Jamerson Mayer (Tedra Goff); and her grandchildren, Cody Johnson, Ciera Johnson, Celsey Swanson (Jeremy), Abigail Mayer, Makenna Mayer and Maxson Mayer. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren; sister Barbara Story; and several nieces and nephews.
