Larry Backens Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Backens of Pecatonica, Illinois, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on April 23, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orville Backens and Lucy Backens (Crooks); and his siblings, Peggy Bargren (Dave), Connie Rozier, Linda Lanferman (John), Terry Backens (Phyllis) and Sherry Emenecker (Dennis). He was also cherished by 11 nieces and nephews and 33 great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Rockford Rescue Mission.
