He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Weires and Genevieve Weires (Meyers); his wife Judi; his siblings, Leo, Phyllis and Michael; and his son-in-law Carl.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Heeman (Gary) of Verona, KY, Kevin Weires (Brenda) of Pecatonica, IL, Lisa Hinton (Jim) of Addison, IL and Mark Weires (Lucy) of Friendship, WI; his grandchildren, Justin Boyer, Aaron Weires (Jessica), Celsey Weires (Casey Janes), Matthew Heeman (Anna), Andrew Heeman (Ashlee), Joshua Heeman (Chelsea) and Lauren (Jason); his close friend Jan Long of Freeport, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Weires, Mike Landin (Jenny) and Steve Daughenbaugh.
