He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Urban; his children, Gary Hinde, Jr. and Barbara Hinde (Donald Frost) of Pecatonica; his grandchildren, Gary Hinde III, Logan Hinde (Cassandra Perez), Crystal Mason (Richard Kujat), Mark Mason, Jr. (Nicole Kasmer) and Xandra Hayden Farel; his great grandchildren, Conner, Aubrie, Blair, Novalyn and Amelia; and his brothers, Gregory Hinde (Linda) of Raddison, WI and George Hinde (Claudia) of Superior, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
