Desmond of Pecatonica, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Morris and Elizabeth Morris (Gritzmacher); and her husband Daniel Desmond. She is survived by: her children, John Desmond (Susanne) and Pamela Hess (Todd); her grandchildren, Chadwick Desmond (Allison), Ryan Desmond, Morgan "Lizzy" Ptasnik (John), Clayton Hess and Tyler Hess; her stepgrandchildren, Benjamin Gritzmaker and Rebecca Guerra (Nicholas); and her sisters, Sandy Kahler (Gary) and Kathy Gustafson (Dave). She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren; 1 step great grandchild.
