He was predeceased by: his mother Lucinda Herold; his wife Jean Marie Gardner; his children, Christine and Steven Herold; and his siblings, Doris Collie, Kathryn Taylor, Shirley Fosler, Margaret Brubaker, Jim Herold, Joe Herold, Sara Cox and Linda Capion.
He is survived by: his children, William Herold (Linda) and Diane Bardell (Rory); his grandchildren, Jimmy, Frank Ku, Jennifer Hermonson (Eric) and Jason Bardell (Carrie HiIle); his great grandchildren, Ellie, Easton Bardell and Cole Hermonson; and his sisters, Barb Moyer and Carolyn Lapp (Dale). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
