He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol Kuhlemeier; his daughters, Connie Ils (Gary) of Orangeville, Cindy Foley (Dennis) of Freeport, Cathy Hartwig (Nick) of Freeport and Carolyn Hofmaster (Dean) of Pearl City; his grandchildren, Bradley Ils (Katrina), Melissa Nyman (Troy), Jennifer Clark (Christopher), Stacy Goodman (Ben), Dennis Jr. Foley (Heather), Kristy Foley, Cherri Love (John), Calvin Jr. Lower (Leah), Dean Jr. Hofmaster (Nicole) and Thomas Hofmaster (Kara); and his sister Jane Schutten (Gene). He was also cherished by his 29 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers of a memorial fund has been established for FHN Hospice.
