He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Evan Brandt and Belva Brandt (Bowers); his wife Sally; his children, Brian (Mary), Bevan (Angie Kaney) of Pearl City and Barbra King (Gene) of Stockton; his grandchildren, Andrew (Nikki) of Winnebago, Nathan (Torie) of Roscoe, Boden (Bryanna), Brodie Kaney of Pearl City, Travis Kaney, S. Navy, Kelsey King of Stockton, Savanah Brandt, Macie Kaney of Pearl City and Kalli Kaney of Philadelphia; his great grandchildren, Jack, Emersyn Brandt of Winnebago, Brayden and Rylan Brandt of Roscoe; his sisters, Janet Schmidecamp (Jim) of Shannon and Connie Croffoot (Jack) of Rockford; his sister-in-law Jean Olson of Harlingen; and his granddaughter Emily Brandt. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Jim fearlessly fought a 5 week battle with Covid.
In lieu of flowers, the family has established a memorial in Jim's name.
