In loving memory of David A. Pommerening of Pearl City, Illinois, who departed this world on January 2, 2025 at the age of 69. David leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Pommerening and Audrey Pommerening (Perdue); his siblings, Butch, Merrel, Eddy, Donna, Sue, Lorraine and Peggy; and his grandson Dakota Pommerening.
He is survived by: his children, Audrey Pommerening of Heflin, AL, Misty Pommerening of Freeport, IL, Amy Brown of Iron River, MI, Chris Pommerening (Stephanie) of Bullhead, AZ and Tyler Stewart (Stephanie) of Lanark, IL; and his siblings, James Cox of Buckley, WA and Sally Bunker (Delbert) of Freeport, IL. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Schwarz Park Blvd Chapel (608 S Park Blvd, Freeport, IL 61032).
