It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol J. Fischer of Pearl City, Illinois, born in Freeport, Illinois, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, LaVerne Gahm and Ruby Gahm (Busekros); her husband Verlyn Fischer; her brother Theron Gahm; her sister-in-law Leona Schneider; her parents-in-law, Harold and Mabel Fischer; and her grandson Zachariah Fischer.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Lochowitz of Pearl City; her granddaughter Shari Sickles (Dustin); her great grandchildren, Emery and Kellyn; her granddaughter Melissa Coulibaly; and her great grandchildren, Batan Jr., Sanouhan and Laura Lochowitz (Zach Janssen).
