He is survived by: his wife Virginia Mae Stahl; his son Stanley Brinkman (Joan); his grandchildren, Jean Oenning (Justin) and Shawn; his son Steven Brinkman (Linda); his grandsons, Chad, Troy (Monica) and Lance (Margaret); his daughter Marlene Graham; his grandchildren, Clint (Jo), Cristall and Curtis (Kristin); his children, Anne, Adam, Austin (Krissy) and Leann Behymer (Jack Moore); his grandchildren, Jason Lewton, Anna Lemon (James) and Brian Lewton (Michel); his children, Cherlyn Davis (Randy) and Charlene Brinkman; his grandsons, Eric (Angie), Jonathan and Justin Davis (Kelsey); his daughters, Kristy Jeffers (Mark) and Kathy Finley; his grandchildren, Marie, Dan (Sarah), Ross (Rose), Jay (Erica) and Jack; his child Brinton Brinkman (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Allison and Kaitlyn; his son Bruce Brinkman (Rita); his grandchildren, Dustin, Bethany and Ryan; his daughter Rebecca Conrad (Steve); his grandchildren, Kayla Hoerr (Mark) and Klayton; his son Leroy "Butch" Brinkman (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Noah (Lacey Roberts), Sam and Lauren; his daughter Virginia "Linn" Dingerson (Jim); his grandchildren, Nicholas and Danielle; and his sister Mildred Venvertloh. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; 13 step-great-grandchildren.
