He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Clayton; his grandsons, Patrick and Dean; his siblings, Betty, Mary and Harold; his brothers-in-law, Wilbert and Maxwell; and his parents-in-law, Albert and Stella.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda (Pat) and Valerie; his grandchildren, Amanda (Dennis), Paula, Patti Lynn and Lucas (Kelsey); his great grandchildren, Alleigha, Shay, David, Dallas and Dakoda; his siblings, Dorothy (Kevin), Maisie, Sylvia, Marjorie (Melvin), Clara (Rendell) and Eric (Rhoda); his brother-in-law Clyde Drover; and his niece Melissa (Bernard).
In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be to the Victor E. Smith Memorial Fund.
