It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Martin Jones of Paxton, Illinois, who passed away on October 24, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Martin Jones and Isabelle Davis; his brothers, William Jackson Jones and John Davis Jones; his sister-in-law Shirley Anderson Jones; his nephews, Jackson Riley Jones and Joseph Martin Jones; and his niece Susan Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Becky; his daughter Sarah Isabelle Jones; his in-laws, Lois Jones, Chris Lively, Greg Mason (Mina), Jackie Newbanks (Jim) and Terry Jones; and his nieces and nephews, Ann Robson (Jim), Jennifer Wilson (Scott), Molly Andreson (Ben), Jane Pickett (Doug), Jill Stevens (John), Beth Creighton (Keith), Hannah Decker (Larry), Bill Gillespie, John Michael Jones (Keyla), Phillip Jones (Sara Beth), Matt Lively (Cathy), Tim Mason, Jared Lively (Brittany), Jordan Lively (Mollie), Judson Lively (Lindsey), Joel Lively and Ben Lively (Caroline). He is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Baier Family Funeral Services (406 E Pells St, Paxton, IL 60957). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Villa Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
