The memory of Margaret L. Hilgendorf of Paxton, Illinois, who passed away on January 17, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorie Larkin and Blenda Larkin; her husband Roy Hilgendorf; her siblings, Marvin Larkin of Rankin, Eldon Larkin of Danville and Joan Brewer of Missouri; her daughter Linda Cox; and her grandson Trent Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Ecker (Harold) of Loda, Richard Hilgendorf (Debra) of Leroy, Michael Hilgendorf (Marianne) of Pontiac and Donald Hilgendorf (Jerilyn) of Gibson City; her son-in-law Charles Cox of Rantoul; and her brother Gary Larkin of Champaign. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and step grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Loda United Methodist Church (200 S Locust St, Loda, IL 60948). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Pine Ridge Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Loda United Methodist Church or an organization of the donor's choice.
