He was predeceased by: his parents, George Parkhurst and Esther Parkhurst (Moore); his wife Phyllis Marcine Horn; and his son Larry. He is survived by: his children, Cinda Dalton of Urbana, IL, Rhonda Crosby (Mike) of Champaign, IL and Allan Parkhurst (Penny) of Coronth, TX.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
