It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles William Swanson of Paxton, Illinois, who passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, C. A. Swanson and Lillian Swanson (Noland); and his sisters, Evelyn Miller (Andy) of Paxton, IL and Gladys Brenner (Bill) of Onarga, IL.. He is survived by: his uncle Bill; his spouse Jean Hawthorne; his sons, Kelly Swanson (Michelle) of Paxton and Kirk Swanson (Michelle) of Paxton; his grandchildren, Masie Kingren (Dylan) of Loda, Kyler Swanson (Courtney) of Loda, Kendall of Paxton, Andrew of Paxton and Alex Swanson of Paxton; and his great grandchildren, Mark, Darla Kingren, Amelia, Charlotte and Bennett Swanson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Baier Family Funeral Services (406 E Pells St, Paxton, IL 60957). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to First United Methodist Church of Paxton.
