Sue A. Dowson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sue A. Dowson of Pawnee, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on November 10, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Donald Hogan and Dorothy Crowe Hogan; her husband Dean Dowson; her daughters, Donna Eike (Tim), Michelle Dowson, Jodi Mundhenke (Scott) and Janelle Moffitt (Steve); her grandchildren, Dr. Katelyn Eike Davenport (Bo), Kyle Eike (Cassidy Webster), Chase Mundhenke (Bianna Edmonds), Ty Mundhenke (Abby Bailey), Owen and Drew Moffitt; her great grandchild Sloane Eike; and her siblings, Donna Logue, Bonnie Williams (Richard), Cindy Loyd (Dave), Larry Hogan (Diane), Bob Hogan (Kay), Ken Hogan (Daphne) and Patrick Hogan (Mary). She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church (700 E Spruce St, Chatham, IL 62629). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
