He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benjamin Mooney and Clara Mooney (Bertucci); his wife Marilynn J. Mooney (Carswell); his children, Derrick Eugene Mooney and Denna Lynn Mooney; and his siblings, Eugene "Sonny" Bertucci and Ramona Frisina of Taylorville. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
