He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie L. and Anna T. Smith Patton; his wife Mary; and his siblings, David Patton, Charlie Patton and Naomi Fugate.
He is survived by: his children, Robert "Bob" of Pawnee and Joan of Pawnee; his sister Eva of Thayre; and also, Whaley of Pawnee and Curtis of Thayre. He is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter.
