It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louella Faye Hughes of Pawnee, Illinois, who passed away on January 26, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Jewell Deveda Bowen (Woodrow); her grandfather Hinds; her husbands, James Estes and Jesse L. Hughes; and her brothers, Jesse Cody and Larry Hinds.
She is survived by: her children, James R. Estes of Pawnee, Deborah F. Venable of Port Gibson, Pamelia L. Jachino (Joseph) of Springfield, Cynthia A. Miller of Carlinville and Shelia I. Farris (Donald) of Pawnee. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
