He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel J. Brunk and Ruth Brunk (Byers); his wife Edith Brunk; and his girlfriend Judy Johnson. He is survived by: his daughter Jill Fickas (John); and his siblings, Sam Brunk (Wanda), Charles (Kenny Frazier), Marilyn Lamboi, Ruthann Costello (Jim) and Jane Truitt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
