Downing Jr. of Pawnee, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 8, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Downing, and Dorothy Scott Downing, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughters, Alyson Aurigemma (Anthony) and LeAnne LaPorte (Greg); his grandchildren, Quint and Owen Aurigemma; and his siblings, Sue Irwin and Roger Downing. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
